EARTH’S TESTIMONY

Bring one piece.
Change the case.

A source. A human account. A correction.
Something only you thought to ask.

X can build a way to Mars. Permission to return home requires Earth’s independent account of what he helped make possible for its people. A Witness brings a piece of that account for others to examine.

No token or wallet is required to offer testimony. Sharing a card helps the next Witness find the case.

01 / YOUR FIRST USEFUL ACT

One source.
One thing it shows.

You can start before you have the whole answer. Describe one precise detail and who it affects. When you submit your note, an editor can assess it and identify what is still missing.

Prepare a source note
A public HTTPS link to the original record, announcement, or account.

Your note stays in this browser until you send it. The next page shows the complete note and asks for permission to review it.

02 / THE EARTH RECORD

Start with what we know.
Find what is missing.

These three research starting points identify what the sources establish and what still needs evidence. Sources reviewed 24 October 2026.

Completed event

The Return

NASA reports that Nick Hague, Suni Williams, Butch Wilmore, and Aleksandr Gorbunov returned safely to Earth aboard SpaceX Dragon on 18 March 2025. Flight and recovery teams brought the crew home after their work aboard the International Space Station.

The record credits NASA, SpaceX, the crew, and the many people behind the mission. It establishes the completed return; individual roles require their own evidence.

Established
A documented crew return, accomplished by NASA, SpaceX, the astronauts, and flight and recovery teams.
Still needed
A sourced account of X’s role in developing this capability, with the teams’ distinct contributions preserved.
Your next useful act
Add one original source about that role, or identify a missing contributor. Explain exactly what it establishes.

EARTH RECORD / 002 · 19 OCT 2026

Pledged · fulfillment unverified

A Share of the Sky

On 19 October 2026, Elon Musk announced his intention to give one of his SpaceX shares to every child in America the following year, 2027. The Associated Press reported that he had not supplied further details of how the pledge would be carried out.

The sources reviewed establish the announcement, while distribution remains unverified. The exhibit will track published arrangements and any documented fulfillment.

Established
Musk publicly announced the pledge. Its fulfillment remains unverified.
Still needed
Published arrangements and evidence of fulfillment, including who receives what and when.
Your next useful act
Add a dated official development or correct an unsupported claim. Keep fulfillment unverified until delivery is documented.

EARTH RECORD / 003 · 18 NOV 2024

Institutional account

When the Signal Returned

In a statement published by North Carolina’s governor, Mitchell County Schools’ superintendent described how Starlink and other backup equipment helped schools recover after Hurricane Helene.

That account describes practical use within a larger recovery effort involving funding, volunteers, staff, and other equipment. It does not establish a personal donation by Musk or a number of lives saved by the service.

Established
A school leader identified Starlink among the equipment that supported the schools’ recovery.
Still needed
More detail about the human outcome and X’s supported role in the capability, alongside the wider recovery effort.
Your next useful act
Find a public school or service record that adds detail. A voluntary firsthand account can also identify what remains unseen.
03 / THE FULL CONTRIBUTION BUILDERDevelop a fuller exhibit. For firsthand accounts, creative work, corrections, detailed evidence, and Witness projects.

Your full draft is saved separately from your quick source note. Add what you know, identify what needs work, then review the draft for submission or download a copy. You can submit without a token or wallet when public intake is open.

Prepare a Witness contribution
Choose the type that best describes what you are contributing. A pledge and a completed outcome require different evidence.
Describe the contribution in your own words. Keep factual claims within what the evidence supports.
One HTTPS URL per line, up to eight. Required for source notes, documented outcomes, public pledges, and corrections. A firsthand account or unpublished creative work can be drafted without a public link.
Witness projects are credited to the people who carry them out. Explain any connection to X’s work separately.

Find the proof. Bring an original source, a date, and the precise claim it supports.

04 / WHAT YOUR WORK CAN CHANGE

A contribution.
A response.
A place in the record.

The XSIGNAL editorial team is responsible for factual review, attribution, and selection. Evidence is considered on its merits. Holder status gives a claim no priority.

  1. 01 / SUBMIT

    Keep your receipt.

Review the note, give permission for editorial review, and send it when intake is open. A private receipt lets you return to the same contribution.

  2. 02 / REVIEW

    See what is needed.

Editors check sources, human impact, attribution, and the limits of each claim. Where relevant, they examine X’s supported role. Their response explains the decision or identifies a missing piece.

  3. 03 / RESPOND

    Improve the account.

Use your receipt to read the editors’ response and send an updated draft when revisions are requested. The receipt shows the contribution’s current status.

  4. 04 / PUBLISH

    Carry your credit.

An accepted contribution may be published with your permission and chosen credit. Selection for FILE X or a transmission packet is a separate editorial decision.

What counts as a strong exhibit?

A strong exhibit explains what happened, whom it helped, X’s supported role, who else made it possible, and what evidence limits or changes the claim. A useful correction can change a preferred account.

Earth’s hearings assemble and test the dossier. A Gatekeeper finding can follow transmission and confirmed receipt. Token balances, trading volume, and popularity do not determine the finding.

Work that extends a capability already in the case can demonstrate a continuing effect. Other useful Witness work belongs in the community’s own contribution record, credited to its creators. Explain any connection to X’s case and identify what still needs evidence.

Before a participatory chapter, the editorial team will publish the specific choice contributors can influence. Evidence acceptance, creative selection, and funding approval are separate decisions.

05 / THE JOURNEY AHEAD

Earth prepares.
The packet travels.
The answer is earned.

The immediate objective is one complete human-impact exhibit. Its sources, credits, and open questions will give Transmission Packet 001 a foundation. No Gatekeeper finding has been issued.

  1. 01 / THE MISSING CONDITION

    Understand the rule.

The recovered condition requires an independent account of a lasting contribution.

  2. 02 / EARTH’S FIRST HEARING

    CURRENT OBJECTIVE / FIRST EXHIBIT
  3. 03 / THE OPEN PROMISE

    Follow what was offered.

Track published arrangements and evidence of fulfillment for “A Share of the Sky.”

OPEN RESEARCH / PLEDGE REMAINS A PLEDGE
  4. 04 / THE HANDS AND THE LEGACY

    Keep everyone in the account.

Preserve shared credit. Examine what the capability continues to make possible and what Witnesses create themselves.

EARTH-SIDE REVIEW / NO GATEKEEPER FINDING
  5. 05 / TRANSMISSION PACKET 001

Send an account we can stand behind.

Selected exhibits, sources, contributor credits, and unresolved questions form the packet for the first outbound attempt.

PLANNED / TRANSMISSION NOT YET ATTEMPTED
  6. 06 / BEYOND EARTH

    Confirm receipt and response.

Confirm receipt before reporting a Gatekeeper response. A finding and authorization to return home are separate developments.

Accepted evidence stays connected to its sources and corrections.
